Class 12 Results Likely by the 3rd Week of Shrawan

The wait is almost over for thousands of students across Nepal. The National Examination Board (NEB) has signaled that the Class 12 results are likely to be published by the third week of Shrawan. This long-anticipated update has brought a wave of excitement and nervous energy among students, parents, and schools nationwide.

After months of waiting, the news has come as a hopeful signal. Students who appeared for the Grade 12 examinations earlier this year have been eagerly checking for any signs of result publication. Now, with NEB making the final touches to the result preparation, the day is getting closer.

What NEB Says About the Results

NEB officials have confirmed that the publication of the results is expected around the third week of Shrawan. Although the exact date has not yet been officially announced, the board has shared that internal preparations are almost complete. System checks, data verification, and result entry procedures are being finalized with caution to ensure accuracy and fairness.

The NEB emphasized that this year, special attention has been given to reducing errors and making the results system more reliable. The results will be available online, through SMS, and possibly via school notice boards as usual.

Admit Cards Are Important

All students are strongly advised to keep their admit cards ready. The result-checking system will require students to enter their symbol number and date of birth, as mentioned on the admit card.

Many students lose or misplace their admit cards by the time results are published. So this is a reminder—find your admit card now and keep it in a safe place. It’s the key to unlocking your results without any hassle.

Why This Year’s Result Is So Important

Class 12 is a crucial academic milestone in Nepal. It shapes future education and career paths. Whether students want to study engineering, medicine, business, humanities, or go abroad, their Class 12 GPA plays a vital role in determining what options will be open to them.

This year, over 400,000 students appeared in the Class 12 exams conducted across Nepal. These exams covered a wide range of streams such as Science, Management, Humanities, and Education.

Since NEB changed the evaluation model over the past few years, many students are curious about how their grades will be calculated and whether the marking pattern has shifted from previous years.

Behind the Scenes: How NEB Prepares Results

The result processing system involves several layers of checking. First, the answer sheets are scanned and graded by examiners. Then, marks are entered into the digital system. After that, a technical team cross-verifies the data to prevent mistakes in the result sheets.

Once this stage is complete, system checks are conducted to ensure that all students’ data has been correctly uploaded. Only then is the result table locked and forwarded for final approval.

This process can take weeks, which is why results are usually delayed beyond students’ expectations. NEB wants students to understand that it is better to take time and publish accurate results rather than rushing and making errors.

How to Check Your Result Once It's Out

Once the official result is published, students can check their results in the following ways:

1. Online Portals:
Visit NEB’s official result website or partner sites like neb.ntc.net.np and nepalresult.com.
2. SMS Services:
Type your symbol number and send it to designated numbers provided by telecom companies like NTC and Ncell.
3. Notice Boards:
Some schools may post the results on their boards for easy access.

Make sure you use your correct symbol number and date of birth as printed on your admit card to avoid login errors.

Tips for Students While Waiting

• Keep your admit card safe and double-check your symbol number.
• Stay calm and relaxed; results take time for a reason.
• Don’t fall for fake news or rumors on social media—wait for official announcements.
• If you feel anxious, talk to friends or family. You’re not alone in this.

Many educational consultancies and colleges will start their admission process right after the results are out, so being ready with your documents and mind made up will help you move forward smoothly.

Official Date Coming Soon

Although no specific date has been declared, NEB mentioned that the exact result date will be announced shortly. Students should regularly check NEB’s official website or follow verified educational portals and national news sources for accurate updates.
