Guess what? The U.S. government has just announced the winners of the DV Lottery 2026! If you applied, now is the time to check if you won a chance to get a Green Card and live in the United States.
🌐 How to Check Your DV Lottery 2026 Result

Go to the official website: dvprogram.state.gov.
Click on "Check Status."DV Program
Enter your 16-character confirmation number.
Type in your last name and year of birth.

Click "Submit" to see your result.
If you forgot your confirmation number, don't worry! You can retrieve it by clicking on "Forgot Confirmation Number" and providing your name, date of birth, and email address.
✅ What Happens If You're Selected
If you see a message saying "You have been selected," congratulations! This means you can apply for a U.S. immigrant visa. Here's what to do next
Fill out the DS-260 form online.
Gather important documents like your passport, birth certificate, and photos.
Schedule and attend a medical exam.
Prepare for an interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Pay the visa fee of $330.
Remember, being selected doesn't guarantee a visa. You must complete all steps correctly and meet the requirements.
❌ What If You're Not Selected
If the website says "You have not been selected," don't be sad. Many people apply each year, and you can try again next time. The next DV Lottery will open in late 2025.
⚠️ Be Careful of Scams
The U.S. government will NOT send you an email or letter about your selection. Only check your status on the official website. If someone asks you for money to check your result or promises to increase your chances, it's a scam.
